On the low-code Meltemee platform, we have developed the application to streamline the fulfillment of obligations under the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation). The solution is a central repository for GDPR and supports organizations in managing and handling GDPR-related processes. The system has a modular structure – it is possible to implement only those functionalities that are necessary in the organization, e.g., handling data registers, processing activities, GDPR cases, and requests. The application supports DPIA risk assessment, breach and incident handling.
Registering a request, incident, or violation automatically generates a case that is handled in the system. Each case type has a dedicated handling process, which automatically generates tasks and assigns them to the responsible persons or executes them using available data exchange interfaces with other systems in the organization.
The solution allows you to monitor the status of a case and the individual tasks resulting from it. The application automates the processes of handling requests, incidents, and violations, prepares, generates, and sends automatic responses to requests, and monitors the timeliness of task completion.
