Low-code platform for corporate banking and risk assessment at BGK State Bank

BGK is a Polish state-owned bank, the only entity of its kind in Poland, wholly owned by the State. It was established by law to support government social and economic programs, as well as local government and regional development programs.

Our low-code team has been working with BGK Bank for many years in two business areas:

  • a low-code CRM app for corporate banking to manage relationships with customers and other stakeholders, implemented on our low-code platform,
  • a rating system using our low-code decision engine with an environment for launching, testing, and documenting rating models.

Built in a few months on a low-code platform, the CRM application includes, among other things:

  • 360° view,
  • centralization of information processing and sharing,
  • surveys (AML CREBA and NYC), notes, newsletters,
  • NPS, CSI, CES KPIs,
  • relationships, contacts, tasks,
  • stakeholder service, routine tasks,
  • case control and monitoring,
  • document repository,
  • consents, PII retention,
  • API integration,
  • ABAC authorization model,
  • OWASP ASVS L2 security.

The CRM application implemented at the bank supports process automation, task execution control, and improves the efficiency and quality of business processes. Centralization of document processing and sharing reduces the time needed to search archives and streamlines the execution of timely tasks. An intuitive user interface, flexible reporting, and effective system navigation facilitate task handling, while API integration services enable integration and automatic data exchange with the bank's systems and Polish Credit Bureau.

CRM for corporate banking on a low-code platform supports process automation, task execution control, and improves the efficiency and quality of business processes.

The solution offers flexible options for user authorization for individual operations based on the ABAC (Attribute Based Access Control) model. The approach used involves assigning additional attributes to users. This model extends the standard role-based approach and allows for the intuitive creation of complex approval schemes within an organization, including multi-entity organizations.

A low-code decision engine for creating and maintaining institutional customer risk assessment algorithms, independently by bank analysts:

  • integrated with the bank's environment,
  • advanced tools for designing, verifying, testing, and documenting rating models,
  • risk assessment and recommendations in the credit process,
  • runtime environment and debugging module for the designers – bank analysts.

The algorithm design process based on the low-code philosophy – no coding is required – is carried out by the bank's analysts.

Drag-and-drop tools enable bank analysts to quickly develop and modify rating algorithms without the need to involve programmers or technology provider. Our low-code platform provides advanced algorithm logic modeling capabilities, providing the designer with an robust library of components for rapid algorithm design and deployment. Business analysts can independently create, integrate, test, and deploy decision models and rating algorithms.

The low-code environment is designed for analysts who have a good understanding of the business domain but do not need programming skills or in-depth IT knowledge to implement solutions effectively. These users create modern IT systems using intuitive editors and drag-and-drop tools, implementing the concept of “citizen developer.”
